"No File Uploaded" error message - Started after I removed Internet Explorer 8 and went back to Internet Explorer 7

My system is Windows XP.  I updated to IE 8, but found the changes in ActiveX controls made some of my old software not run properly.

Followed the directions for deleting IE 8 in order to fall back to IE 7.

I upload large files ( 260k to 10MB) daily to a wholesale internet printer.  After the upload completes, I get an error message saying "No File Uploaded".

However, it appears the file WAS uploaded.  The pre-press department is not having any trouble opening and using the files that I send them.

How do I get this error message to stop appearing?
